Now regular visit to NHTV in Breda..

Mark, Kate and Chris up with the sparrows and away to Amsterdam and thence to Breda – maintaining the tradition – late flight misses key express train timing and next one is late – so arrive hot foot and panting to lecture theatre full. Luckily the audience has been warmed up by recent intern Eline and all are attentive and involved.

Quick lunch in the excellent restaurant on site – and then the round-table conversation with those who express an interest – delighted to see 10 eager faces. An opportunity for two-way communication – with others listening in – and to make an initial assessment of interest. An hour goes very quickly – and all who are still interested are invited to submit their CV – with a critique of the McFT roadshow – no holds barred – what went well but also what could be done better?

Then back to the station – engulfed in bicycles – Schiphol, Heathrow and the office we left that morning.

And by the end of the week, 10 applications – a full house - with diplomatic and mostly complimentary feedback. Skype interviews to follow – with a view to starting our fourth placement student from NHTV in early 2017…
