Vision 2030 - not that far away - a huge project

The kingdom has an ambitious vision for the next fifteen years – not long at all to effect a huge transformation. But the pace and scale of construction is as impressive as elsewhere in the Gulf : you can see the first twenty floors of the Jeddah Tower – which will be well over a kilometre high – as you come out of the airport towards the city. And will be part of a $20 Billion mixed use real estate development – parks, retail, office and residential – hugely impressive.

And did I mention the 5000 room Holiday Inn – and the 10,000 room hotel with 70 F & B outlets in Mecca? Not short of ambition…
