New feeder for the Magpies...

Contact from Marketing Manager Sasha and Club Chairman Peter Griffin earlier in the year and Mark and Chris went down to see how we might help the oldest continuously occupied football ground in the world. Ambitious plans, tied to the town centre development, still some time off – and in the meantime, a pressing need to cope with increase community demand. How can we help??

A month long project to strip the old Club Shop, refurbish with vinyl floor, cladding on the walls – then new stainless, fridges, oven, fryers and display unit – to provide a very smart new snack bar adjacent to the main stand – all in exchange for few banners around the ground – including those for our MOT@50 Prostate Cancer message.

Thankyou to all who contributed to the project – Brendan at Lincat, Simon at Pentland Wholesale who always digs out great graded stock for our projects, Axon, our builder Cesar and, of course, the team who installed and got it up and working – Zak, James and Magpies fan Paul Brooker.

Jason, who manages the catering for the club is over the moon – “these new fryers make great chips – really quickly!”. Queues are down and the takings are up – back of the net!
